My biggest problem these days is the choice between Canon and Olympus... Joe is on Canon CM and Hiro is on Olympus... My "work" camera is Canon and "play" camera is Olympus... GRRR...
It is funny, Joe's Canon CM also just started in April or something - almost at the same timing as Hiro's Olympus. And remember Santory beer CM by Hiro? Well, Joe also started on Kirin beer CM recently too..

As for singing ... that is true, lots of Japanese actors/actresses DO sing. The entire pool of "celebrity entertainers" in Japan is much smaller and they often milk all the genres, including movie, TV, CM, music - in the US, these segments are pretty much devided among different people. But Joe's involvement in music is a bit different from everyone else. He is doing it from "artist" perspective, looking like he is doing what he likes, rather than for business.
I know, I wish Hiro does music video - although I don't like to see his 80's "leotard+headband" music performances too much....
